While our Shopify setup package covers everything you need to launch, the following are not included:
- Shopify Subscription Fees – Shopify plans are billed separately by Shopify.
- Premium Plugin/App Licenses – Any paid Shopify apps or third-party services will require separate purchases.
- Product Photography & Editing – We can upload your products, but professional photos and edits are not included.
- Custom App Development – If you need a custom-built Shopify app, this would require a separate scope.
- Advanced SEO & Marketing Services – While basic on-site SEO is included, in-depth SEO strategies, PPC, or email marketing campaigns are separate services.
- Ongoing Support After 3 Months – You’ll receive 3 months of free support, but continued maintenance and updates beyond that will require a separate service plan.
Timeline
Our standard Shopify store setup typically takes 4 weeks to complete. However, this timeline may vary due to unforeseen delays, such as waiting on client-provided content, approvals, or third-party integrations. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process to ensure a smooth launch.
General terms
To ensure a smooth and efficient Shopify store setup, clients are responsible for the following:
- Providing Content & Assets – Unless specified otherwise, clients must supply all text, images, logos, branding materials, product descriptions, and other necessary assets at their own expense.
- Timely Communication – Clients should respond promptly to requests for information, approvals, or feedback to prevent delays in the project timeline.
- Scope of Work – The price includes only the work outlined in the package. Any additional features or changes beyond the agreed scope may be billed separately.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – The first round of feedback is complimentary. Any further revisions may be subject to a minimum 10% charge of the project value, depending on the complexity of changes. UAT feedback is limited to the original scope and deliverables.
- Change Requests – If additional modifications are requested after work has begun, they will be reviewed and charged accordingly.
- Stock Images, Videos & Plugins – Clients will reimburse any premium stock images, videos, or paid plugins required for their store.
- Content Delivery – All necessary content should be provided on time to avoid project delays.
- Additional Services – Content writing, product photography, and videography are not included but can be arranged for an additional fee if needed.
Payment structure
At Tekhelp, we follow a clear and fair payment structure:
- No upfront charges – You only pay when we’re ready to start your project.
- 50% payment before starting – Once we finalise the scope, a 50% payment is required before work begins.
- Remaining 50% upon completion – The final payment is due once the project is completed and ready for delivery.
Refund policy
Due to the nature of our services, our refund policy is as follows:
- The initial 50% payment is non-refundable, as it covers project planning, setup, and work allocated to your project.
- If a project is cancelled after work has started, the client must compensate for all completed work up to that point.
- No refunds will be issued for services that have been fully completed.
- No refunds can be provided once a Shopify development store has been transferred to you.
